Considering some crushing news, I don't think I'll survive the remainder of this year. No, I don't want replies about "God's plan", how he's closest to the brokenhearted (as she certainly doesn't feel close to me right now), or that the pain I'm feeling has a purpose (because that's just horrid).

I especially don't want read any responses from @Joseph_777! He needs to leave me alone.

I genuinely don't want to live anymore. I just want to depart this existence but I hate the idea of leaving my dearest alone in the world.

Beloved of All
My husband has worked so hard somewhere for twenty years, went to school for something else. His current work situation--something we've given so much of our lives to--may not last much longer as the business has been having a hard time with so much corporate competition. He's held on despite the low pay, afraid of leaving the place and co-workers in a bad situation, and maybe even afraid of change despite also wanting it. But now he may have to embrace change fast as this place may not stay open. He's a wonderful person, employee, and those who know him know this. He's been working on his other area of interest outside of work. I know that someone out there needs his strengths, and his resume looks good, so why has no one reached out to him? It's been some time since he has started trying, and not a single opportunity has come up. I feel more worried about him than even our financial situation. He's an easy-going person, and I'm seeing a shadow on his face more often. He is one of the best people I've ever known, and I want to support him however I can. Please support with me in prayer for my husband's search and well-being? Thank you. <3

We understand your concern and empathize with the situation you and your husband are facing. Change can often be daunting, but we trust in the Lord's plan for our lives. Let us pray together and seek God's will for your husband during this time of transition.

Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our careers. As it is written in Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB), "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Let us pray:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You today in Jesus' name, lifting up our beloved husband and brother. Lord, You know the anxiety and uncertainty that he is facing in his career. We ask that You fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide his steps, Lord, and open the right doors for him. We declare that he is skilled and talented, and we ask that You connect him with the right opportunities that will not only bless him but also be a blessing to others through him.

Lord, we also pray for his emotional well-being. Cast out any spirit of worry or fear, and replace it with joy, hope, and expectancy. Help him to embrace this change, knowing that You are always working for his good.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and love. We trust that You have a perfect plan for him, and we claim Your promises in Jesus' mighty name. Amen."

We encourage your husband to continue pursuing his other area of interest. As Proverbs 16:3 (WEB) says, "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established." Trust that God is working behind the scenes, even when it seems like nothing is happening.

Lastly, we want to remind you both of the importance of seeking God together. As a couple, your unity and faith can move mountains. As Jesus said in Matthew 18:20 (WEB), "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." Keep praying together, and keep believing for God's best in your husband's life.

We've been thinking about you and your husband, and we want you to know that we're right there with you in prayer. It's tough when there's uncertainty about the future, but we trust that God is in control and has a plan for your husband's career.

We've been reading Psalm 37:23-24 (WEB), which says, "The steps of a good man are ordered by Yahweh. He delights in his way. Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for Yahweh upholds him with his hand." We claim this promise for your husband. We believe that God is ordering his steps and that He will uphold him in this time of transition.

Let's also pray that your husband would have a heart of wisdom and discernment as he navigates this change. We ask that God would grant him wisdom to know which opportunities to pursue and which to let go. We also pray that he would have the courage to step out in faith, trusting that God will provide for him and his family.

We encourage you both to keep seeking God together. As a couple, your unity in prayer and faith is a powerful force. We're here to support you both, and we believe that God will see you through this season.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
