Prayer request for my husband and his work place. My husband, he got hired into this job as of January 16, 2021. He was an outside hire for the wastewater and clean water department. He was hired as a mechanic maintenance technician. He left a corrosion facility job that was so horrible to him. They would slave him to do all the work. He loves his new job but only one problem, the employees at this current job since management is so horrible they allowed the bad employees to do whatever they want. My husband became the target of unnecessary hate and discontent. I guess management promised some of the current employees they will hire from in-house but they didn’t; they hired from outside. My husband applied, interviewed, and got the position because he was already holding the same pay at his previous job so they didn’t have to promote him to a 9; my husband was already a 9. So this guy, ###, who was promised the promotion was so angry my husband got the job. My husband's first day at work, he was put in the same team as ###, ###, and ###. My husband is normally quiet but I told him to try to loosen up; it’s a new job. Introduce yourself to everyone and make new friends, which he did. But since he didn’t know anyone from this current job, he had to make friends. But first day the devil found him and he was treated with rudeness and disrespect from ### instead of complaining to his boss why he didn’t get the promotion from a 7 to a 9, he started taking it out on my husband. My husband kept his cool and just asked questions hoping to learn. They don’t want to teach him; they made up stories my husband is the problem; no one gets along with him. No one wants to work with him. They started the trend. So my poor husband was moved from one team to another and first it was fine and all of a sudden the good old buddy system made its way to my husband's new team and the lead accused my husband for still his bucket which he later found out it wasn’t my husband but never bothered to apologize to him for it. Then ### all of a sudden stopped talking to my husband without any explanation at all. ### he used to be cool to my husband all of a sudden he stopped talking to my husband. They used to offer my husband overtime when he first started; they stopped then two of the three bosses, ### and ###, started to treat my husband the same way just like everyone else. He just humbly goes to work and his started to shut down. He used to be motivated but slowly drained for one he was never trained properly on what he needs to do. All of a sudden they stopped talking to my husband but started taunting and instigating things. They stopped asking him for overtime; my husband was fine with that so instead of training my husband to do the job he was hired to do, he was assigned a completely different job without any training but he has to train another person on it. My husband excelled at it and became so good at the new position. The problem is the new position is for someone that gets paid a 7 0positom. But the good thing about it, he made a really good friend, ###, but after him and ### worked, they moved ### to learn the job that him and my husband were supposed to learn since they are out 9’s they would let my husband work with ### because ###, ###, and ### don’t want my husband to work with them. My husband can never learn anything else to advance at this new job because of how he is treated but the management knows about ###, no one wants to work with him but blame my husband just because he took the spot he was promised to get. The sad thing is they never really took the chance to know him. They finally gave my husband overtime and my husband met a new employee, ###. What’s funny is he just started but it seems like he has more pull than my husband because he can go anywhere to work at. He gets 80hrs of overtime all the time; no one offers my husband or tells my husband anything. During the overtime that they gave my husband recently, ###, a very nice boss, told my husband he will be in charge. He did a good job but the problem was they had these people that don’t like him; they started to instigate bad behavior and just sit around while my husband and two other employees are working. My husband was telling them, hey guys, let’s work together, help each other out but they just kept mouthing him off and making fun of him on top of that they texted all their buddies and told them oh my husband kept telling them to work. It broke my heart to hear my husband today after work saying he worked overtime. He has no idea what he did to ### or ### and ### but he knew ### probably told them some lies about my husband telling him to help and he didn’t. He said no one said hello to him; they just congregated in one spot and my husband and two other employees are doing all the work. He did ask, hey what’s going on and ### pretended. My husband is a combat veteran with 90% disability.
