Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ, as we lift up this request for a friend in need of a suitable job. We are reminded of the scripture in the book of 1 Timothy 2:5: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. The only name by which we can ask God, and access Him is in the name of Jesus. If we seek anything from God, we must seek it in the name of Jesus. Jesus is the only way to speak to God.
Let us remember the words of Proverbs 16:3: "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We have a Lord and a God that knows all things, and wants the best for His children. Let us ask Him to prepare and open the door to the job He has for her. May His will be done.
We are also reminded of the promise in Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We trust in the Lord's plans for her, and we pray that this job will be a stepping stone to a future of hope and prosperity.
Now, let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our friend who is in need of a suitable job. We pray that You would guide her steps and open the right doors, according to Your will. Help her to trust in You and Your timing, knowing that You have a plan and a purpose for her life.
In the meantime, we ask that You keep her under Your loving care and protection. Comfort her heart and calm any anxiety she may be feeling. Help her to know the God of all comfort is always there. Remind her that You are always with her, and that You will never leave her nor forsake her.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
May she take the time to seek Jesus, and His will, and to build a relationship with Him, if she has not. We should all be mindful that the book of James 4:3 says, "...Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss... Ask with a heart after God.
If she has not received Jesus as her Lord and Savior, and believed in Him, that He died for her sins, and arose again for her salvation, we invite her to pray this prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, I come before you. I believe that you died on the cross for my sins, and rose again for my salvation. I ask you into my heart as your Lord and Savior. Forgive me of my sins, make me a child of God, and give me eternal life.
If she has done this, then she can know that she will spend eternity with Him.
