We are truly sorry to hear that you are feeling this way, but we are glad you have reached out for prayer and support. Firstly, we want to remind you that you are not alone, even when it feels that way. God is always with you, and He cares deeply about your situation.
We strongly advise all to pray for you and are thankful you reached out. We want to remind you that your life is precious to God. He has a purpose and a plan for you (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).
In moments of despair, remember that God is close to the brokenhearted, and He saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). It is not His will to see you overwhelmed and consumed by these feelings. There are many instances in the Bible where people felt desperate and alone, but God intervened and turned their situations around. God's word is full of examples of His faithfulness and mercy. It is important to remember He will never leave you or forsake you.
However, it is crucial to address the root of these feelings. The Bible tells us that we are not to be conformed to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2, WEB). This means that we need to change our thought patterns and align them with God's truth. When we feel rejected or afraid, we can find comfort in God's love and promises.
We also want to remind you that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). When feelings of rejection and fear arise, we can stand firm in the knowledge that God has equipped us to overcome them. It is clear that you are not coping and you need to seek help from your Pastor, Elder, and church family. These individuals are there to help and support you in your walk with Jesus.
Regarding your feelings of suicide please understand this is a sin. You are killing a human being made in the image of God. In fact, you are trying to kill God. Jesus died that you may have life. The direct cause of these feelings comes from the devil and not God. Jesus said He came to give you life and life more abundantly. This is not God's will for your life. This action of taking your life will place you in hell for eternity.
It is interesting to note that the request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). There is no other way to God the Father except through Jesus Christ. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 (WEB)
For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 (WEB)
We need to speak the name of Jesus to connect to God. Jesus is the one mediator between God and man. 1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB)
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father and the name of Jesus Christ,
We lift up our brother/sister to you, asking for Your comfort and guidance in their life. We pray that You will fill them with Your peace, and remind them of Your unfailing love.
We rebuke the spirit of suicide and depression and any spirit not sent by God the Father and we bind it in the name of Jesus Christ. We loose the spirit of life on you in the name of Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Give them the strength to endure and overcome these feelings, and replace them with hope and joy. Help them reach out to the pastor and church leaders.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we believe this prayer reaches your throne. We stand in agreement in the name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Please take the next step and reach out to your local pastor or a trusted Christian friend. It is important to stay connected with other believers who can support and encourage you. Also, consider seeking professional help from a Christian counselor if these feelings persist.
Remember, God loves you deeply, and He wants you to find hope and healing in Him. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this difficult time. We pray for you often. Please reach out again to let us know how you are doing.
