We stand with you in prayer, asking our loving Father to be with your daughter as she embarks on her first job. It's wonderful that you're seeking God's guidance and blessing for her in this new chapter of her life. Let's pray:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our dear daughter to You. We ask that You be with her as she starts her first job. Guide her steps and inspire her to work diligently, as unto You, Lord. Let her work be excellent, as you command us in Colossians 3:23, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."
Father we know that she will not be perfect, she will make mistakes. We ask that You help her to learn from them and grow in her role. We pray for her bosses, that You would bless them with patience and understanding when she makes errors. Lord, You tell us in Ephesians 6:5-7, "Servants, be obedient to those who according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ; not in the way of service only when eyes are on you, as men pleasers; but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; with good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men;"
We pray that her bosses would be tolerant of her, and that she would be a blessing to them and her coworkers. May the Holy Spirit guide and protect her, giving her wisdom and discernment in her tasks and interactions.
Father, we also pray for her witnesses to Your love and grace in her workplace. May her light shine before others, that they may see her good deeds and glorify You, our Father in heaven Matthew 5:16.
Lord, we ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to You, Father and it is by His name that we are saved Acts 4:12. We are grateful that Your Word has told us, "that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:10-11.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you both to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He has a good plan and purpose for your daughter's life and career. May this job be a place where she grows professionally and spiritually, and may she always seek to glorify God in all she does. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go Joshua 1:9.
