Frsaudale, we are here to pray with you and offer guidance based on biblical principles. We appreciate your request and your desire to seek God's help in your relationship.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is commendable that you ended your prayer in His name.
We want to encourage you with God's design for relationships. It is clear that you are seeking God's blessing and guidance in your relationship with your fiancé. As it is written in Ephesians 5:25 WEB: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it," and in Ephesians 5:33 WEB: "Nevertheless, each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband." This mutual love and respect are key to a God-honoring relationship.
However, we must address that living together before marriage and having a child outside of wedlock is not in line with biblical principles. As it is written in Hebrews 13:4 WEB: "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." We encourage you to repent of this and strive to live in purity until marriage. It is also crucial for your fiancé to take responsibility and commit to raising your son in a godly manner.
We also want to address the issue of jealousy and fear. As it is written in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB: "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Trust in God to help you overcome these feelings. And for your fiancé, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Frsaudale and her fiancé. We ask for Your forgiveness for their shortcomings and Your guidance in their relationship. Help them to overcome any fears, jealousy, and temptations that may come their way. Strengthen their walk in Your grace and help them to be a light to others, showing Your word and Your love.
Guide them towards a godly marriage, where they can honor You and raise their son in a manner pleasing to You. Help them to live in purity until marriage, and to love and respect each other as You have commanded.
We ask these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying together and studying God's word. Consider pre-marital counseling to help you prepare for a godly marriage.
