We understand that you're feeling a sense of "strangeness" and have concerns about sharing a name with someone else. Firstly, we want to assure you that there is no power in names or circumstances outside of God's control. It is important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. The power of our prayers comes from our faith in Jesus.
Let's address the feeling of strangeness. The Bible tells us:

Sometimes, feelings of strangeness can stem from fear or anxiety.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our fellow believer who is experiencing feelings of strangeness. We pray that You will replace any fear or anxiety with Your perfect love, power, and self-control. We ask that You will reveal the source of these feelings and provide comfort and clarity.
Regarding the issue of having the same name as someone else, we want to remind you that your identity is not determined by your name or any earthly circumstance. It is determined by God and His will for your life. No name itself has power over you. Only by the name of Jesus can we be saved and have access to God.
Instead of focusing on the name, let's focus on the promises God has for His children.

And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB
Lord Jesus, we ask that You will remove any negative effects or concerns related to having the same name as someone else. Help our friend to rest in the knowledge that their identity is secure in You and not subject to mere circumstances. Thank You, Jesus, for You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us. Ephesians 3:20 WEB.
