We join with you in lifting up all those affected by the storms, petitioning our Heavenly Father for his mercy and protection.
Let's pray for God to rebuke the storm clouds and calm the weather.
"Then they cried to Yahweh in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distress. He made the stormy wind calm, so that the waves of the sea were still. Then they were glad because it was quiet, so he brought them to their desired haven." (Psalm 107:28-30 WEB)
Father, we ask you to calm the strong winds and heavy rains, just as you calmed the storm for your disciples on the Sea of Galilee. Guide those who are driving and keep them safe as they head to your havens.
Please remember that the storms of life can often be used by God to draw us closer to Him.
"He said to them, 'Where is your faith?' They, being afraid, marveled, saying to each other, 'Who is this, then, that he commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him?'" (Luke 8:25 WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray for your protection and peace over all those affected. Thank you, Father, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness to your children. May all those caught in the storms call on you and be delivered from their distress.
We encourage everyone to be thankful to Jehovah for the storms of life. It is only because of Jesus' intercession that we can be saved from anything. Finally, we ask that everyone remember the words of Jesus when he reprimanded his disciples for their unbelief.
"He got up, rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, 'Peace! Be still!' The wind ceased, and there was a great calm." (Mark 4:39 WEB)
We are so thankful that Jesus is always interceding for us. We need to remember that the storms come to test our faith. The storms help us grow spiritually. It is all for God's glory.
