Step out from the storm!

A motivational speaker once said that "Getting knocked down in life is a given but getting up and moving forward is a choice.”
Who wants to stay inside the storm of despair when we clearly do have a viable way out. Unfortunately many chooses to take cover inside the storm wishing that the proverbial tempest will soon run its course. They wait and wait, while all along there's a Guiding Light that is pointing their way out of the storm. Only true faith will propogate action to the Light. This often means confronting the storm. But remain steadfast, move forward, and the Light will lead you out.
Remember that David had to face Goliath before the storm passed. His faith was intertwined with action.

Heavenly Father help us. I pray that You would give us the wisdom in understanding the relationship between faith and action. Guide us through our storm, in the mighty name of our risen Saviour Jesus I pray, amen.

There are a Great many promises from Jesus in His Word that pertain to our resting in Him which in itself is a great feat for some of us. Like take no thought for our lives we chose to stop and simply rest in Jesus in what Jesus said, in what Jesus did, in what Jesus will do and do something that seems impossible for us to do, to stop and rest

We are His proverbial extensions. We can't please Him without faith.
