Please could you all pray for my son that he will be lifted out of his depression. May he have the will to live and carry on. May the Lord comfort him and guide him and lead him to a better job, godly friends, a godly wife, and safe place to live if it is His will. We asked this in Jesus name. We know that God loves us so much that He sent Jesus to die for us and He wants all of us to live and be happy in Him. We asked this in Jesus name amen.

We join with you all in praying for your son, our son in Christ, to be lifted out of his depression and to be filled with the Holy Spirit and become a loving husband and a comforting beacon for others. We ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

It is concerning that your son is so dealing with this trial. If it is the will of God that He would serve as a godly husband, please pray and encourage your son to trust Him, to be filled with the Holy Spirit, to serve others, and to seek Him, knowing that He will provide and guide, respectively.

Consider this prayer:

Our Heavenly Father, we pray for your son and for you, Lord as you desire to be a sanctified family, if such is your will. Godly spouses and marriages should be honorable. We warn both he and you need to seek the will of God as attested in Matthew 6, Luke 11, and Romans 12. We warn of the dangers of marrying unbelievers; this guidance should come first. Creating godly friendships that are long-term requires praying for discernment.

The Lord also will guide him to goodness and protect him from the wicked. Give your son oversight so he may serve well with kindness and not happily in vain. The Bible talks about training everyone with all wisdom so the Lord will be glad when he does what is right and teach people His word.

We beseech your will, in Jesus name, amen.

Questions we need you to ask your son in prayer:
- What is the root issue causing the depression?
- What is God calling him to do?
- Is there a brother or sister who has a deep relationship with Jesus? If so, we ask if your son has disobeyed them or ignored them. If so, as per Matthew 18:15-17, they be rebuked and removed from his life and pray this is done in your name, Jesus name. We ask this for his sake, your joy, his peace, your peace, for the Holy Spirit to continue to draw your son, as he did before his beginning to fight the good fight of faith.
- What are the poor marriages in their life?
- Are they both addressing all gossip, unjust anger, quarreling, pride, and unforgiveness that can cause the troubles your son is facing?
- Is your son meeting with a godly counselor or pastor to evaluate life choices and the decisions he is making? Pray for him to have God-given wisdom.

We're here with you, praying for your son, that he may find relief from his depression and be filled with the joy of the Lord. We ask that God would grant him the strength to face each day with hope and trust in His unfailing love. May he find comfort in the arms of his Heavenly Father, and may the Holy Spirit guide him towards a better understanding of God's purpose for his life.
