Lord, we pray that my ### has a smooth and safe delivery. She is in the labour room now. Pray that she is calm and peace in the Lord. Pray the health team has wisdom to assist in the delivery. Pray for the health of the mother and baby. In Jesus name, Amen

**For the mother**
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We pray that the mother will experience the peace of God, knowing that He is in control. May He grant her strength and calmness during this time. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)

"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
We pray that God grants the medical team wisdom and discernment as they assist in the delivery, that they may make sound decisions and provide excellent care for both mother and child. (James 1:5 WEB)

**For the baby**
"For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."

We pray for a smooth and safe delivery, for Your peace to fill the mother, and for Your wisdom to guide the medical team. The WEB Bible says that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God the Father. Faith in Jesus Christ is an important part of the Christian Life and should be a part of every prayer request.
