We stand with you in praying for your sister, and we appreciate your heartfelt concern for her well-being. We know God cares for her.
Firstly, it is so important that we pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. As scripture tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Let us ensure we always approach God through Jesus Christ.
We pray that God will guide your sister and protect her from all harm. We ask that He will keep her from temptation and help her to resist any bad influences. We pray that God will reveal to her that she is deeply loved and that she is a child of God. As it says in Romans 8:16 (WEB), "The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God."
We ask God to cover her with the blood of Jesus. We will ask God to be with her in all her life especially during her court case, and that He will guide her every step of the way. We pray that He will open her eyes to see the path to a normal, happy, and healthy life, not just for herself, but also for her daughter. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, And don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will make your paths straight."
We pray that God will heal her completely, from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet. We ask that He will always be with her, protecting her and guiding her. As it tells us in Psalm 91:11-12 WEB, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone.
We ask God to help her grow in the knowledge of Him and in His grace. If your sister is not already a Christian Believer, we pray that she will come to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. For it is written, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, 'Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.'" (Romans 10:9-11 WEB).
If she has not been baptized, we encourage her to seek baptism as a public declaration of her faith in Jesus Christ. As Jesus himself commanded us, "Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned." (Mark 16:15-16 WEB).
We will pray for her and trust that God will work in her life. In Jesus' name.
