We are truly saddened to hear about your father's condition, and we are here to pray with you and your family for his healing. We believe in the power of prayer and the promises of God's word. Let us remind ourselves to pray based on these promises.
For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 WEB
Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. James 5:14-16 WEB
Let us align our prayers with these promises, asking God for mercy and healing:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up our father to your throne of grace. We thank you and trust in the atoning sacrifice you provided for his salvation.
We ask, Lord, that you would show mercy and restore his health. Heal his wounds, Lord. Give him strength to gather with the family and us to rejoice in your healing power.
Guide the doctors and medical professionals, Lord, as they treat him, and give them wisdom and insight. Comfort him and his family during this difficult time, and help them to cast all their anxieties on you, because you care for them. In Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen
As for you, consider this as a lesson to call upon the Lord as soon as trials appear. We should call on the Lord in both good times and hard times. Do not waste time. Holdfast to the Father's promises.
