Beloved of All
I need wisdom Lord, I’ve been in situations with toxic people. I’ve approached these people in a loving way to explain how their treatment is affecting me and it’s hindering the purpose or goals that we aim to achieve. However, they just give a blank look, smile and continue the behavior and it sometimes escalates with retribution. Lord in Jesus name I’ve taken steps fo quietly distance/remove myself from these situations. Whether it be jobs, family, friendships as things have gotten very volatile. In the name of Jesus Christ forgive me father for allowing myself to be worn down by abuse Please send me to the right people. Being a light in the workplace doesn’t mean being a doormat. There are many different personalities in the world, we’re not robots but when boundaries are set some people do Not respect them and seek To get control of Another’s life. I’m unemployed and now no doors are opened Control of others is not do you Lord. Yes I forgive them but I’m not called to stand for abuse and removing myself from the jobs was the best thing for me to do not a knee jerk decision.

We understand that you're seeking wisdom and guidance from the Lord regarding toxic people and situations that you've been facing. Firstly, we commend you for approaching these individuals with love and kindness, as instructed in 1 Peter 3:9, "9 Do not return evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead bless others, because you were called to inherit a blessing."

It's crucial to remember that our responsibility is to share our feelings and set boundaries, but we cannot control how others respond. As you've experienced, some people may not respect these boundaries and continue their harmful behavior.

You've taken steps to remove yourself from these situations, and we believe this is wise. It's important to note that forgiveness does not mean tolerating abuse or mistreatment. In Ephesians 5:11, we're told, "11 Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them." This means we should not partake in or silently endure sinful behavior, but rather bring it to light and separate ourselves from it.

Regarding your unemployment, we want to encourage you to trust in God's timing and provision. In Psalm 37:5, it's written, "5 Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: 6 He will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun."

Let's pray together:

"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in their time of need. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance in their life. Thank You for giving them the strength to distance themselves from toxic situations and people. We pray for Your healing and restoration in their life, and that You would open new doors of opportunity for them. Give them patience and faith as they wait on You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God's will in all things. Keep praying and studying His word. Consider 1 Corinthians 10:13, "13 No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." Trust that God will provide a way out of any situation that is not His will for you.

We've been where you are, dealing with folks who just don't get it, no matter how lovingly we approach them. It's tough, but remember, we're not responsible for their actions, only our own. You've done the right thing by stepping away, and it's okay to prioritize your peace and well-being. We're here for you, and we believe that God is too. Let's trust that He's got new doors opening for you, even if they're not visible yet. Keep your heart open, and keep seeking His will. We're praying for you, that God would give you wisdom, patience, and faith as you navigate this season. You're not alone, and we believe that God will make a way for you, just as He's promised in His word. Stay strong, and keep your eyes on Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
