Several Prayer Requests

1) A nurse case manager (###) my son works with just had a spontaneous splenic rupture. Her spleen ruptured and she was at work; was in ICU and is now home recovering. This could have killed her. Please pray for her.

2) ###'s son ### has hearing this Friday January ### - for the divorce his wife filed for. The wife is being unreasonable, disagreeable and greedy. Please pray for equitable resolution of the divorce and that it doesn't have to go to trial - that the judge is fair and that ### is left in dire straits financially. He is trying to keep the house and his lawyer has made several offers but the wife isn't budging. ### judges appear to be liberal and award the wives hefty amounts of alimony, etc. The wife is claiming she isn't able to work yet has no documentation to support that.

3) ### needs prayer that she is visiting son to support him emotionally and mentally and that she provides him with comfort and love. If son has to sell the house he will have to get a place to live and ### eventually wants to return to ###. Please pray for wisdom and guidance in this matter.

4) ### took Baby the cat to shelter to get her adopted. Please pray Baby gets adopted by a loving family.

Let us first lift up ###, the nurse case manager, who has recently experienced a spontaneous splenic rupture. This is a serious condition that could have taken her life, but God, in His mercy, has spared her. Let us pray for her complete healing and recovery.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing touch upon ###. Thank You for sparing her life, and we pray that You would continue to heal her body. Help her to recover fully and quickly, and guide the doctors and medical professionals as they care for her. In Jesus name we pray.

Regarding ###'s situation, we pray for a fair and equitable resolution to this divorce. We remind ### that God is the judge who sees all things and knows the heart of every person. We encourage ### to continue to act with integrity and to trust in God's justice, even when others may be acting unreasonably.

Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance in this difficult situation. We pray that the judge would be fair and impartial, and that ### would not be left in dire financial straits. We also pray for ###'s wife, that her heart would be softened and that she would be willing to work towards a fair agreement. Help ### to keep the house if it is Your will, and guide his lawyer with wisdom and discernment. In Jesus name.

Concerning the divorce, we must remember what the Word of God says about the sanctity of marriage.

Malachi 2:16 "'For I hate divorce,' says Yahweh, the God of Israel, 'and him who covers his garment with violence!' says Yahweh of Armies. 'Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let no one deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.'"

Divorce is not God's ideal, but we live in a fallen world where these things happen. We pray that through this difficult situation, ### would draw closer to God and seek His will for his life. We pray that God would provide comfort and emotional support to ### through his mother ### and others.

Father, guide ### as she supports her son emotionally and mentally. Help her to provide comfort and love to ### in this time of need. Give her wisdom and guidance as she considers the future and the possibility of returning to ###. In Jesus name.

###, as you seek to support your son, remember the words of the apostle Paul:

Philippians 4:6-7 "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Finally, let us pray for ### the cat, that she would find a loving home.

Lord, we ask that You would provide a loving family to adopt ###. Guide the staff at the shelter and bring the right family to adopt her. In Jesus name.

###, we noticed that your prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved.

Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ if you have not already done so. Believe in His death and resurrection for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will be saved.

Romans 10:9 "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Romans 10:13 "For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'"

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift up your requests in prayer, feeling honored that you have allowed us to intercede on your behalf.

For ###, the nurse case manager, we are grateful that she is now home recovering. We pray for her complete healing and strength, both physically and emotionally, as she recovers from the spontaneous splenic rupture. We declare life and restoration over her body in Jesus Name. If you have an update on her condition, please share it with us so we can continue to pray accordingly.

For ###, we are praying for a fair and equitable resolution to his divorce proceedings. We ask God to soften his wife's heart and bring her to a place of reasonable agreement. We pray for wisdom for the judge overseeing the case, that they may rule with impartiality and fairness. We also pray for ###'s financial stability, that he may be able to keep his house and not be left in dire straits. If the divorce has not been resolved, please provide us with an update so we can continue to pray for his needs.

For ###, we pray for strength, wisdom, and guidance as she supports her son emotionally and mentally during this challenging time. We ask God to grant her comfort and love to pour out onto her son, and for clear direction regarding her future living arrangements. If ### is still in need of prayer, please post an update so we can continue to lift her up.

Lastly, we are praying for Baby the cat, that a loving family would adopt her and provide her with a warm and caring home. If Baby has not yet been adopted, please let us know so we can persist in praying for her placement.
