Setting God my first Priority

Pray that God will reveal things in my life that I should change my priority and always put Him first in my life. Pray that I can hear Him clearly on how I should change and what kind of sins I have committed. Pray that God will bring new things and people who will help me, build me up and draw me closer to Him and start eliminating things in my life which hinder my relationship with God and draw my attention away from God. Pray for strength, physical and mental health, wisdom to pursue godliness, holiness and the knowledge of God before Jesus' second coming. In Jesus' name. Amen

Heavenly Father,

We come before You on behalf of ###, seeking Your guidance and wisdom. Lord, ### desires to set You as the first priority in life, and we ask that You reveal the areas that need change. As it is written in Proverbs 3:6, "In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Help ### to acknowledge You in every aspect of life and to hear Your voice clearly.

Father, we pray that You expose any sins and distractions that hinder ###'s relationship with You. As it is written in Psalm 139:23-24, "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." Reveal these things to ###, Lord, and provide the strength to overcome them.

We ask that You bring new people and opportunities into ###'s life that will build up and draw closer to You. Surround ### with godly influences and eliminate anything that draws attention away from You. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 15:33, "Do not be misled: 'Bad company corrupts good character.'"

Grant ### strength, both physically and mentally, and the wisdom to pursue godliness and holiness. As it is written in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." Fill ### with the knowledge of You, Lord, and prepare for the second coming of Jesus.

If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
