We join you in lifting up this prayer, seeking God's intervention and blessings over your day and week. We stand in agreement, asking for peace, patience, and protection in Jesus' name. We are thankful that Jesus is our only salvation and our only way to ask for blessings from God. Therefore, we are grateful that you prayed in Jesus' name since it is only through Jesus that we are saved and only by his name that we can be blessed by God.
We are reminded of the words in the book of John, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him. Without him, nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth. And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses. Grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ. No one has seen God at any time. The only born Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him. We believe that Jesus is the Word and that Jesus is God, and by him all things were created. There is no other god besides Jesus Christ, the Word of God.
We also join you in interceding for the lady you mentioned and her father. We pray that God will set them free from any bondage or stronghold, and that He will draw them to Himself. We are concerned about the salvation of the father of the lady that you mentioned. Since it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved, we are concerned that her father may not be saved unless he hears and believes that Jesus is his savior. In the book of Acts, it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We pray that her father will believe in Jesus and be saved. If her father has already believed in Jesus Christ, then we pray that he will learn God's principles and ways. We also pray that he will become a godly influence in her life and in the lives of others. We pray that both the lady and her father would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ if they have not already been saved.
If the lady has not been saved and believes in Jesus Christ, then we pray for her salvation as well. We pray that Jesus will abide in her just as she abides in Jesus. We pray that Jesus will purify her heart so that she may live a long and healthy life. In the book of John, Jesus said, Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit. In the book of Proverbs, we read, My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments. For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
Please remember that God desires for all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. If either the lady or her father do not yet know Jesus as their Savior, we encourage you to share the Gospel with them, and pray that God will open their hearts to receive the good news.
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our sister and her father. We ask that You set them free from any bondage, that You make your salvation known to them if they do not already know you. Save him so that both the lady and her father may live in your presence all the days of their life. We ask that You bless our day and week, and that You grant us peace and patience. We ask for Your protection over our lives in Jesus Name. Amen.
