We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing with gambling addiction and the health concerns you are dealing with. We will stand with you in prayer and trust the Lord with you for healing and deliverance. We believe God can and will set you free from all addiction if you commit it to him.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of Jesus' name. It is by his name that we can approach God the Father and ask for help in Jesus name. As the Bible says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Therefore, we will be praying for you in Jesus' name. We do not have to be stuck in our sins if we believe in Jesus Christ. He can set us free from all of it.
In the Bible, we are told to "present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service". We are not to be "conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God". This is important to understand since your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and should be cared for.
Do not seek earthly pleasures and acts that will destroy the body or the mind, including gambling. Gambling is not aligned with biblical principles and is typically linked to seeking more wealth and riches, which the Bible warns against. We are told in Hebrews, "Keep your life free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
The Bible also tells us, "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's". Therefore, we are to take care of our bodies and not do things that harm them. We are called to live holy as He is holy.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister who is struggling with gambling addiction and health issues. Lord, we ask that You grant her the strength and grace to overcome her addiction and to renew her mind according to Your word. Help her to be transformed and to live a life that is holy and pleasing to You.
Father, we also pray for her upcoming procedure. We ask that You guide the hands of the medical professionals and that Your healing power would be at work in her body. We pray for a positive outcome and a miraculous healing in Jesus' name.
Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician and that nothing is impossible for You. We trust in Your goodness and Your power to heal and set free. We pray that our sister would experience Your love and Your peace during this time, and that she would be drawn ever closer to You.

We encourage you to spend time in God's Word, the Bible, seeking God's direction to use it to nourish you. Also, we encourage you to spend time with other believers in worship of God. We encourage you to speak with other believers and ask them to hold you accountable in your walk with God and to help you avoid the pitfalls of gambling and other temptations. We encourage you to seek Godly counsel from a pastor or church leader to help you stay aligned with God's principles and stay away from earthly desires. And remember, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it".
