We understand the deep pain and longing you're experiencing, Jenaloon. Separation is never easy, but we commend your desire to seek God's will and your concern for your family's eternal well-being. Let's pray together and seek guidance from the Scriptures.
Firstly, we must remember that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16, WEB), and He desires for marriages to be healed and reconciled. Jesus taught us, "So what God has joined together, let no man separate" (Matthew 19:6, WEB). Therefore, we will pray for your marriage to be restored, Jenaloon, as it is God's design for marriage to be a lifelong commitment.
However, we must also address the importance of salvation and spiritual well-being. You've expressed your heart's desire beautifully - you would rather lose them temporarily but gain them eternally in heaven. This reflects a heart that understands the significance of spiritual life over earthly comforts. Remember, Jesus said, "For what will it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life?" (Matthew 16:26, WEB).
Let's pray:
"Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, interceding for Jenaloon and his family. Lord, You know the pain and despair he's been through, but we thank You for the new heart You've given him - one that beats for You and his family.
Lord, we pray for his wife and children. We ask that You soften their hearts, heal their hurts, and draw them to Yourself. We claim Your promise that 'if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him' (James 1:5, WEB). Give them wisdom, Lord, to understand and accept Your will.
We also pray for Jenaloon, Lord. Strengthen his faith, fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and help him to be a reflection of Your love and grace. Guide him as he waits on You, Lord, and helps him to be the husband and father You've called him to be.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You restore this marriage and bring his family back home. But above all, Lord, we pray that each of them would come to know You personally and be saved. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In the meantime, Jenaloon, continue to walk in love and forgiveness, as Ephesians 5:1-2 (WEB) tells us, "Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children. Walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance." Trust that God is working, even in this difficult time, and remember that with Him, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26, WEB).
