We rejoice with you as you pour out your heart to our Heavenly Father. It is beautiful to see your desire for God's kingdom and righteousness, aligning with Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
You have acknowledged God as your Father and the center of your life. As Jesus taught, "God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." (John 4:24) We pray that you continue to be honest and faithful, growing in your relationship with Him.
You have also recognized the need for God's mercy and control over your life. Romans 7:18-19 says, "For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good. For I don't do the good which I desire; but the evil which I don't desire, that I practice." We all struggle with sin, but with God's help, we can overcome. As you yield control to Him, remember 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
We praise God for the blessings and wisdom He has given you. As you continue to pray in Jesus' name, remember the power of that name. Philippians 2:9-11 says, "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your kingdom and righteousness. Thank You for being their Father, their family, and their everything. Lord, have mercy on their sin, and take control over their body and life. Lead them into Your kingdom, and continue to bless them with Your positivity, blessings, and wisdom. Help them to be honest and faithful, worshiping You in spirit and truth. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Continue to trust in God, knowing that He hears your prayers. As 1 John 5:14-15 says, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
