Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of ### and their prayer request concerning ###'s battle with alcoholism and the challenges they are facing in their relationship. Lord, we lift up ### to you, knowing that you are the ultimate healer and deliverer. We ask that you would touch his heart and bring about a deep transformation in his life. Help him to overcome his addiction and find freedom in you.
Father, we also pray for the relationship between ### and ###. We understand the pain and confusion ### is experiencing as ###'s behavior fluctuates. We ask for your divine intervention to bring healing, understanding, and unity between them. Lord, bind their hearts together in love and help them to support and encourage one another through this difficult journey.
We thank you, Lord, for the love that ### has for ###, despite his flaws. We pray that you would strengthen their love and help them to see each other through your eyes. May their relationship be a reflection of your love and grace, and may they grow together in their faith and commitment to you.
We claim the promise in Ecclesiastes 4:12, which says, "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Lord, be the third strand in their relationship, binding them together with your love, grace, and wisdom.
We trust in your perfect timing and your unfailing love, knowing that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We commit this prayer request into your hands, believing that you will work all things together for their good and for your glory.
