I have registered for summer school in ### district for Culinary Art 12. However, according to their policy, they will prioritize local students. As a grade ###, I need this course’s credit and I really like this course. I hope I can have a spot for that!

Firstly, we want to remind you that God has a plan and purpose for your life, and He can direct your steps according to His will. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

While it's important to plan and prepare, remember that God's will is ultimately what will prevail. In James 4:13-15 WEB, we are cautioned, "Come now, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow let’s go into this city, and spend a year there, and trade, and make a profit,' whereas you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. For you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.'"

Regarding your concern about the policy prioritizing local students, we encourage you to pray for God's favor and intervention. God can open doors that seem closed, as He did for the apostles in Acts 5:19 WEB, "But an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors by night, and brought them out."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this student who desires to secure a spot in the Culinary Art 12 course. Lord, we ask for Your favor and intervention in this situation. If it is Your will, please open a door for this student to take this course and gain the credit they need. Help them to trust in Your plan and purpose for their life.

If they have not already, we pray that they will come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, the only name by which we can be saved, according to Acts 4:12. We pray that they will put their hope, trust, and faith in Jesus Christ who is their only advocate with You, the only God.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to pursue excellence in all you do, as it is written in Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might." Trust God with the results, and remember that His ways are higher than our ways.
