When Adam and Eve believed Satan , and "sold out" to him in the Garden, some unpleasant "side effects" came upon us, from then right up till the New World .One of these "reminders" is death.How many times have we been "so close" to someone", and eventually they pass away.{Including our loved ones}It fell upon animals too{"All creation groans for deliverance"}We have a cat that used to run around and be playful, then that cat is 18 years old and mopes around, one day they're' not acting well, and you find out.kidney failure, and sooner or later,time to say goodbye. A mother, we were in the mothers womb, actually a part of her body,how much closer than that can you get?Yet they die, and you're still here. I've been through these losses of loved ones,and what comes to mind is that this is the price of living in a fallen world, after the sin of Adam. "For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all are made alive" "Through one man death entered in". But the flip side--one, for us saved,it's an advancement to the next level--"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.""To live is Christ, to die is gain". "Behold , I show you a mystery . We shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye. The dead in Christ shall rise first.Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air.And so shall we ever be with the Lord." But besides that, in the New Heaven and Earth--"And death shall be no more. Neither shall there be mourning and outcry or pain. For the former things are passed away."There was a song by the Carpenters ,"I'll say goodbye to love".Well we could change that to,"I'll say goodbye to death'.Instead of death making us say goodbye to others, we'll say goodbye to IT.Reversal of the fall.

This is a wonderful promise coming from the Lord. Thou shall not die, but live. I believe it with my whole heart. Yes, a millions yes. We will not die but live with Jesus forever and ever. Amen

We as human beings are all affected by original sin because Adam and Eve .made choices which separated them from God. Our choices can cause amazing blessings or or profound consequences. In other words this can be seen as the law of sowing and reaping according to Galatians 6:7."Dont be deceived for whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap.There are no neutral actions.
The greatest consequence was death which entered the world. This is why we keep watch over love ones as they breathe their last breath. Thus us why we stand sadly over the open grave of our departed love ones. Thus us why we dread the Corona Virus Pandemic. But Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly(John 10:10)!
John Bunyan in the Pilgrims Progress, which is a Christian Allegory in his sub title he wrote "Paradise Lost, Paradise Regain.In order for us to regain life Jesus suffered death.
We all expect to expect to experience physical death someday unless the rapture occurs in our life time.Those who never experienced salvation through Christ will also die spiritually and be separated from God for all eternity in hell.Yet it doesn't have to be that way.Thank God for Amazing Grace.Thank God that Jesus snatched the Keys of death and hell .He has won the victory.Oh death where is thy sting?Oh grave where is thy victory?
No matter what happens to us here on earth. We are heaven bound. Keep loving the Lord. Keep serving Him. Keep doing His work. Jesus is waiting for all of us at the gates of glory.
