We are so glad that you have reached out with your desire to be drawn closer to Jesus and to receive saving faith. It is truly a wonderful thing to seek the Lord and His salvation. Firstly, let's address the most important aspect: knowing Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.

First, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. It is essential to learn the gospel message of Jesus Christ. He died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried, and He rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures.

Faith is not something we can manufacture on our own; it is a gift from God. As it is written in Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."

In addition to asking for faith, we encourage you to engage with God's Word, the Bible. As you read and study, the Holy Spirit can speak to your heart and draw you closer to Jesus. Romans 10:17 WEB tells us: "So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Giluadell. Thank You for drawing their heart towards You and for the desire to have saving faith. We ask, Lord, that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way, that You would grant them the gift of faith, and that You would draw them closer to Jesus.

Help them to understand the gospel message clearly, that Jesus Christ died for their sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. Guide them as they read and study Your Word, and open their heart to receive Your truth.

We also pray for conviction of sin, the ability to repent, and the desire to follow Jesus as Lord and Savior. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who is the only way to You. Amen.

We also pray for a hunger in you, Stephen, a hunger to know God more, to follow Jesus, and to live a life that pleases Him. We ask all this in Jesus' name. Amen.

I come to you in Prayer regarding your child that wants to draw closer to you. Heavenly Father, may you give her the courage and hunger to know you and gain deeper intimacy with you. We pray that you divine intervene for you child. We ask that you would receive your child and the request of thirsting for your presence and self Father God.

James 4:8: "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you"
Hebrews 10:22-23: "Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings"
Hebrews 4:16: "Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need"

Heavenly Father, it is by our decisions and obedience that you O King of Glory can intercede and be let in to work miraculous things. By this we ask, Lord for you to strengthen and increase the faith of your daughter. Lord, we know that through you all things are possible. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
