If you have asked Jesus to be your Lord and Savior then you ARE saved and in that moment the Holy Spirit of God came into your life . Yes , there is only one God , you need to renounce any Hindu belief . The Lord DOES hear your prayers , never doubt that , we do not always " feel " His presence , but He is STILL with us . The problems that you are having is because of the enemy of your soul { satan } he is wanting to confuse you , we cannot go by our feelings , we have to stand in faith . Since you have given your life to the Lord , this means that satan has lost you and now he will try harder to get you back by doubting the truth . Keep doing what you are doing , this is the best defense against the enemy . Get a bible and read chapter Jeremiah verse 29:11 . The Lord has wonderful plans for your life . I pray the Lord's blessings over you in JESUS mighty name !!
