We are grieved to hear that someone has been stealing your son's lawn equipment, and we join you in praying for his safety, the protection of his property, and peace of mind. We are glad to hear that you have prayed in Jesus's name as it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Let's come together in prayer and the Word.
The Bible encourages us to cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us, and in return, He promises to grant us His peace.
Peter 5:7 says:
"...casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
And Philippians 4:6-7 tells us:
"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother and his son. Lord, You are the God of the impossible, and nothing is too hard for You. We ask that You surround their home with Your angels, protecting them and their property from any further theft or harm. We stand on Your Word in Matthew 18:19, which says,
"Again, I tell you truly that if two of you on earth agree about something you may ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven."
Father, we agree in prayer, asking for an end to these thefts and for Your divine protection over their lawn equipment and their home. Grant our brother and his son Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding. Give them comfort and assurance that You are in control and that You care for them.
We also pray for the individual responsible for these thefts. Lord, convict their heart, lead them to repentance, and if they do not know You, we pray that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Transform their life, and make them a new creation in Christ Jesus.
We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Please make sure to report these thefts to the local authorities as well, as the Bible tells us in Romans 13:1-5 to be subject to the governing authorities and that God has established them to execute justice. We are praying for the situation's resolution, and we encourage you to continue trusting in God's protection and provision.
Remember that God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Stand strong in your faith, and keep praying in the name of Jesus.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. Philippians 4:6-8.
