We are lifting you up in prayer during this challenging time as you face the threat of a cyclone. We stand in faith with you, trusting in God's protection and provision.
Let's pray For God's protection over your home, car, and all your animals. We declare Psalm 91 over you, which says, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" (Psalm 91:1-2, WEB). Father, we ask You to be a shield around all that belongs to the one praying, and that the cyclone will not harm them or their property. We cancel the destructive power of the cyclone and this storm in Jesus's name.
We also encourage you to trust in God's faithfulness and goodness. Remember that He cares for you and that He is a present help in times of trouble. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." (Psalm 46:1, WEB).
As a believer trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, when the disciples were afraid of the storm He calmed it down.
"He got up, rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, 'Peace! Be still!' The wind ceased and there was a great calm. He said to them, 'Why are you so afraid? How is it that you have no faith?'.
They were greatly afraid, and said to one another, 'Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?'" (Mark 4:39-41 WEB).
Finally, we urge you to use this opportunity to be a light to your neighbors and community. Be ready to offer help and support to those who may be in need.
