We rejoice with you as you give thanks for safe travels and a pleasant workday. It is wonderful to see that you acknowledged the power and protection of Jesus' name in your prayer request. Let us remember that it is by His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed. God is indeed able to change any situation and heal any affliction. As that is only available to believers in Jesus Christ, we pray that all people will come to believe in Jesus Christ.
Let us encourage everyone to be mindful of God's promise in Psalm 91:9-12 WEB:
"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your tent. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."
We are also told to pray for all people, including those who do not yet believe in Jesus.
Now we pray:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up all those who travel to and from work each day. We ask for Your continued protection and guidance. We pray that their week will be safe, productive, and pleasant. We also intercede for those who do not yet know You, that You would reveal Yourself to them and draw them to salvation in Jesus' name. Help us to be salt and light and to show Your love to them. We pray that You would change the hearts of those who do not believe and heal those who are afflicted. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
We also remind everyone to be mindful of God's promise in 1 Timothy 2:1-4 WEB:
"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."
May we never forget that God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Let us be vessels of His love and grace, pointing others to the saving power of Jesus Christ.
Finally, we remind everyone of the words of Jesus in John 14:6 WEB:
"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Therefore, let us always pray and give thanks in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father.
