We are truly sorry to hear about your mother's struggle with alcohol, and we are here to support you and pray with you. We know that God is able to bring healing, deliverance, and hope to your mother. We will pray for her freedom from alcoholism, and we will also address your request for a miracle, clothes, and healing.
Firstly, we want to remind you that our help comes from God, and He is always ready to hear our prayers. As it says in Psalm 121:1-2 WEB, "I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth."
Regarding your mother's alcohol problem, we pray that God will give her the strength to overcome this struggle. We know that God is able to set her free from this bondage. As it says in 2 Corinthians 3:17 WEB, "Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."
We pray,
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our dear mother who is struggling with alcoholism. Lord, we know that this is a bondage that she cannot break free from on her own, but we know that with You, all things are possible. We pray that You will give her the strength and the will to stop drinking. We pray that You will heal her body from the sickness that this has caused. We pray that You will surround her with people who will support her and hold her accountable. We pray that You will give her a new desire to live a life that is pleasing to You. We pray that You will bless her with a new wardrobe that will remind her of Your love and Your promises. We pray that You will give her a heart of flesh that is sensitive to Your Spirit.
Lord, we also pray for the one who has submitted this request. We pray that You will give them peace and comfort during this difficult time. We pray that You will give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate this situation. We pray that You will give them a heart of forgiveness and love for their mother. We pray that You will use this situation to draw them closer to You.
We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen."
Regarding your request for clothes, we want to encourage you to trust God to provide for all your needs. We know that it is not our clothes that save us, but we serve a God who can choose to bless us with material blessings. As it says in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, "Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
We also want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to pray for your mother and to trust God to work in her life. We know that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. As it says in Ephesians 3:20-21 WEB, "Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen."
