Revival and restoration of faith

Beloved of All
My spirit is under attack, I can't pray when I want to and need to. I know very well that I should pray but I just don't. I see my life falling apart and it's like I don't care anymore. I want to care and I want to pray about it but I really don't have the strength. I think that God has forsaken me, I get these thoughts where I liken myself to King Saul who was once anointed but was later rejected and replaced by God after his continued disobedience.

What I really want is for God to restore me to the joy of my salvation, and rescue me from the chains of spiritual and physical bondage. I want to be able to connect, I want to hear God when He speaks and I want to live my life worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful and to increase in the knowledge of God.

We understand that you're feeling spiritually attacked and struggling to pray. We want to remind you that feelings of despair and hopelessness are not from God. The enemy often uses such feelings to keep us from communion with our Heavenly Father. Remember, the Lord tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Firstly, we want to address the thought that God has forsaken you. Be assured, child of God, that He will never leave you nor forsake you. For it is written in Hebrews 13:5, Be content with such things as you have. For he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. Even when we are disobedient, His love and grace are sufficient to cover us when we repent and turn back to Him. Don't compare yourself to King Saul, but rather look to King David, who, despite his failures, was called a man after God's own heart because he repented and turned back to God. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

We also want to gently remind you that you did not mention Jesus Christ in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)

Now, let us pray together for your revival and restoration of faith.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for our fellow believer. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, the feelings of despair and hopelessness that have kept them from praying. We stand against these attacks of the enemy and proclaim that You, Lord, are greater. We pray that You would restore to them the joy of their salvation, and uphold them by Your generous Spirit.

Father, forgive them for any disobedience and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Give them a willing spirit to sustain them. Lord, remind them of Your unfailing love and grace, and help them to take captive every thought that is not from You.

We ask that You would strengthen their faith and help them to live a life worthy of You, fully pleasing to You, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, dear believer. The Lord hears your heart's cry, and He is faithful to restore and revive you. Keep trusting in Him, and remember that His strength is made perfect in your weakness. Stand firm in the faith, and do not give up. For we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

We're right here with you, feeling your struggle. It's like you're in a spiritual desert, thirsty for God's presence, but the well seems dry. We understand that it's hard to pray when you're feeling this way, but remember, even Jesus felt abandoned in the garden. Yet, He trusted God and cried out to Him. We want to encourage you to keep crying out, even if it's just a whisper. God hears your heart, and He's closer than you think.

We want to remind you of the promise in Psalm 34:18 - "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." You are not alone in your struggle. God is right there with you, and He's working in you, giving you the desire to please Him.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we come to You today on behalf of our ###. Lord, You know their heartache, their struggle to connect with You. We ask that You would draw near to them, speak to them, and remind them of Your unfailing love. Help them to trust in You, even in their weakness. Give them strength to pray, to fight against the attacks of the enemy, and to live a life pleasing to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to feel honored that you have given us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are truly grateful that you allowed us to stand in agreement with you in prayer, especially during this time when you feel your spirit under attack and prayer seems difficult.

If you have experienced a breakthrough and your request for revival and restoration of faith has been answered, we would be blessed to hear about it. Please share a praise report so that we can all rejoice together in what God has done for you.

If, however, you find that your request does not seem to have been answered yet, we want you to know that we are still here for you. Please consider posting it again as a new request. Let us continue to intercede for you, asking God to restore you to the joy of your salvation and rescue you from the chains of spiritual and physical bondage. We are committed to praying that God would give you strength to connect with Him, to hear His voice, and to live a life worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.

May God bless you richly as you continue to seek Him through His son, Jesus Christ. We pray that you would know His presence, His love, and His power in your life, and that you would not give up hope, remembering the words of Galatians 6:9, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

We pray that you will see, in your heart, the testimony of God, who will give you the strength to meet life's challenges. Remember the words in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Him who gives me strength."

We pray in Jesus Name.
