While we understand that you are feeling attacked and are seeking protection, we must address the request for revenge. The Bible tells us not to take revenge, but to leave it to the Lord. As it is written in Romans 12:19, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
Instead, let us pray for your protection and for the hearts of those who are against you. Let us remember that Jesus said in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking your protection for our brother/sister. We ask that you surround them with your angels, and hide them in the shadow of your wings. We pray that you will give them peace and strengthen their heart. We ask that you prepare them a table before their enemies and anoint their head with oil. We pray that their cup will overflow and that they will dwell in your house forever. We know that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Lord, we also lift up those who are persecuting our brother/sister. We pray that you will soften their hearts and draw them to yourself. We pray that you will bless them and do good to them. We ask that you will help our brother/sister to love them and pray for them as your word instructs us.
We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. For it is in his name that we have access to you, God. It is by his wounds that we are healed and it is by his death and resurrection that we are saved.
Amen.
Be strong and courageous.
