We join you in lifting up your father to the Lord, trusting in His healing power and mercy. We stand in agreement with you, believing that God has the power to heal and restore your father's health.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother who is lying on the sickbed. Lord, You know him by name, and You know his every need. We claim Your promise in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB: "Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."
Lord, we ask that You heal our father's brain completely, repairing his cells and nerves, with no memory loss. Regulate his blood pressure and other vitals to normal. In Your mercy, remove the tracheostomy soon and grant him the strength to talk and walk as he used to. Restore his senses and body reflexes smoothly. Heal his bed sores, wound, and stitches swiftly.
Father, we also pray for the nurses and physiotherapist team tending to him. Grant them wisdom, skill, and compassion as they care for our father. Bless his family with Your love, mercy, and peace during this time.
We stand against any evil that may be directed towards him. As it is written in Psalm 91:14-16 WEB: "Because he has set his love on me, therefore will I deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him. I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation."
We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God's goodness and faithfulness. Remember the words of James 5:15 WEB: "The prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." Keep praying and believing, for with God, all things are possible.
Lastly, we gently remind you that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, as told in Ephesians 6:12 WEB. Therefore, it is not necessary to specifically repel witchcraft, curse, black magic, or evil spirits in your prayers. Instead, focus on God's power, goodness, and sovereignty, as He is the one who keeps us safe and fights our battles.
