We are saddened to hear about the struggles this individual is facing, and we appreciate the caring heart of the one who submitted this request. We will pray for wisdom, patience, and guidance for the carer, and for healing and cooperation for the one who is ill.
Firstly, we acknowledge the biblical truth that all healing comes from God. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. We also know that God cares for our physical needs. In Matthew 6:28-30, Jesus reminds us, Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? God cares for us.
Let us pray together.
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this person who is struggling with health issues. We pray for Your healing touch upon their body, that the problems of enuresis and incontinence would be resolved. We also pray for their heart, that they would be willing to accept the help and protection that is offered to them. Please soften the heart of the one resisting change and assistance, and grant the one caring for them wisdom, strength, patience, and guidance. We know that You are a God of love, compassion and healing.
We pray that their wet and stained clothing be a thing of the past. We also ask for Your grace to fill both the carer and the one being cared for, that they may both know Your love and peace. We pray for a spirit of cooperation and understanding to reign. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, dear carer, to continue in your labor of love. Remember the words of Galatians 6:9, Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up..
Do not allow the enemy to use this situation to bring anger, frustration or resentment into your heart. Instead, look to Jesus in all things, and remember that even this trial can be turned to good. Trust in God and his timing and plan in all things including salvation for this person if that has not occurred yet.
