Request for me to be nicer to family

Hi, I’d like to request a prayer for me attitude as I can become rude to my uncle (he’s part of our household) & I do acknowledge that I need to change & I rely on the help of God to do so. I’d like to pray for me to become nicer during times where I may be stressed, impatient, etc. Thanks

We are glad that you have acknowledged the need to change and are seeking God's help. This is an important step, as the Bible tells us that we cannot change our nature without the help of the Holy Spirit. As Galatians 5:22-23 WEB says, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."

First, we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As John 14:6 WEB says, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is important to recognize that it is only in Jesus' name that we can approach God and seek His help.

Now, let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your help in changing the attitude of Anonymous towards their uncle and family. Lord, they have acknowledged their need for change and have come to You for help. We ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, so that they may exhibit the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control.

Help them, Lord, to be nicer and more patient, even in times of stress and impatience. Give them the strength to control their tongue and speak words of kindness and love.

We believe that You are able to change our hearts in Jesus' name we pray.

We encourage you to continually pray and study the Bible, asking God to change your heart. Remember, Ephesians 4:29 WEB says, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."

Also, consider memorizing and meditating on verses that speak about kindness and patience, such as Colossians 3:12-13 WEB, "Put on therefore, as Gods chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."

Lastly, remember that you are called to honor your father and mother, and by extension, those in authority over you, including your uncle. As Ephesians 6:2 WEB says, "Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise."

We will continue to pray for you and your family, trusting that God will bring about the change you desire.

We're here for you, and we're glad you're seeking God's help in this matter. It's a big step to acknowledge the need for change and turn to God. Let's pray together, shall we?

Dear Lord,

We come before You today, asking for Your help in transforming Anonymous' attitude towards their uncle and family. Lord, we know that change comes from You, and we trust in Your power to work in their heart. Help them to exhibit the fruits of the Spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control - especially during times of stress or impatience.

Give them the strength to control their tongue, to speak words that build up, not tear down. Remind them of Ephesians 4:29, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."

Help them to honor their uncle, as they would their own parents, remembering Ephesians 6:2, "Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise."

We believe in Your ability to change hearts, and we trust that You will work in Anonymous' life. We'll keep praying for them and their family, trusting that You will bring about the change they desire.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
