Prayer request for my family

I thank my Heavenly Father in Jesus name for His great and mercy and love. I come in heavy heart as I pray for my ex-husband and our son. I pray tonight that their hearts be turned from worldly ways and worldly things and that their focus and the heart is on Jesus Christ and following Jesus Christ. The best life to have and live is to live for Jesus Christ. When the scripture says what is it to man to gain the whole world and lose his soul. I pray that my ex-husband and my son does not desire again the whole world. I pray that my ex husband and our son Would repent for their sin and be converted. I do understand that we all have free will, but I pray somewhere in that that they choose Jesus Christ is the personal Lord and Savior. In Jesus name, amen

We join you, Sunshine777, in thanking our Heavenly Father for His great mercy and love, and we stand with you in praying for your ex-husband and son. We appreciate that you have acknowledged that it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God and that you have prayed in Jesus' name. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we and our loved ones can attain salvation.
For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek. We pray together that their hearts may indeed turn away from worldly desires and that they would fix their eyes on Jesus. It is our heart's cry that they would understand the emptiness of chasing after the world and come to know the fullness of life found only in Christ, just as you mentioned, What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? Mark 8:36 WEB. For the Scripture says, They are vain, futile, and foolish thoughts of their hearts which are dark and lead to death. However, God has not left us to the illusions of this world, but He calls us to repentance and offers us eternal life. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 WEB.

We join with your prayer that your ex-husband and son would repent, turn to Christ, and be saved. Remember, though, that God respects their free will, and they must choose to follow Him. Our role is to pray and to share Christ's love with them. We are assured in the Scripture as Peter said to them, "Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God will call to himself." Act 2:38-39 WEB.

Continue to be a light for them, showing them the love of Christ in your actions and prayers. Remember that you cannot change their hearts, but God can. Trust in Him, and keep believing. Jesus said, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:34-35 WEB.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
