HIS PRINCESS

Good morning, Prayer Warriors,
Coming to you once again, soliciting prayers for a young lady, incarcerated for being in the wrong place at the wrong time and being involved with a person she should not have been with and did not tell what she knew at the time. Sometimes when you’re young, you tend to do things that are not correct but at that time, you may feel that you know it all or someone had hurt you so badly that you want to strike back and get even, but then you only hurt yourself. This is part of Wanda’s story. She goes before the parole board in South Carolina, next Wednesday, August 8, 2012. She was at the place when the crime was committed (someone was killed) but when she and another person were arrested, neither one gave the name of the person (hiding) who had committed the crime. He had told them that if they told on him, he mentioned what he would do or have done to them and their families. They have kept silent for a period of 20 years. Every time she goes before the parole board, he is there menacing her, with his stares, etc.
“Our Father, who art in heaven and on earth, who loves those on the outside of prison walls and those behind prison walls, we thank You for just loving us unconditionally. Many times we break Your Laws and come up short to Your will for us, we ask forgiveness for all of our sins and please renew the right spirit within us. We are soliciting prayers for our sister, daughter, niece Wanda as she is about to come before South Carolina’s Parole Board next Wednesday. Please change the heart of the father who lost a son many years ago that he will realize that, even though Wanda was there, she did not commit the crime. Even the pleas from his other children for him to forgive Wanda, let him realize that being behind prison walls was not easy for Wanda either, let him have pity on her and realize that by continuously “hating†her will not bring back his son but he has to remember that our God is a God of Love. Give him compassion to forgive Wanda that his life will not be filled with hate. Our Father, please have mercy upon Wanda at this time in her life, and pray that she has long accepted You as her Personal Lord and Savior and has to know that by keeping silent many years ago did not help her cause but hurt her and her family tremendously. Bless her, Dear Father, with love and compassion that she will be “Free†from prison, the parole board will react favorably to her situation and she will be a living testimony to our youth (that’s what she wants to do), where she will steer them on the right path that they will not go down the road she had traveled so many years ago. If things don’t work out in the positive for Wanda, please don’t let her give up but continue to be strong, keep the faith, have hope and continue to lean and depend upon You. Bless her and her family that it will be a rejoicing time for them as we pray and anticipate Wanda’s release from prison. We pray for other inmates who may be incarcerated wrongfully and those who may be guilty of crimes, have mercy on them and let them come to know You in the pardoning of their sins and they repent and ask Your forgiveness and those they have wronged. We ask all of these in the Name of Your Son, Jesus, our Savior who is the Christ. Amen.†Love you with the Joy of Jesus!
