We are truly saddened to hear about your sister's situation and the injustice she is facing. Let us remember scripture for the purposes of our discussion, advice, and prayer. Firstly, we must recall how God sees the innocent and the guilty. In Exodus 23: 7-9, God commands, "Keep far from a false charge, and do not kill the innocent and righteous: for I will not justify the wicked. You shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds those who have sight and perverts the words of the righteous. You shall not oppress a foreigner, for you know the heart of a foreigner, for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt."
As followers of Christ, we must acknowledge that God does not sleep and His truth will always prevail. We also need to remember that God's will and ways are higher than ours. Even in this trying time, as the apostle Paul said, we need to be content in all circumstances. Philippians 4:11-13:
"Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
God also wants us to be patient and trust in Him. We should not take justice into our own hands, but rather, we need to remember that vengeance is God's and that we need to live our lives in a way that reflects His righteousness. Let us pray for your sister, for her accusers, and for the guilty party.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister who has been falsely accused. We know that You are a righteous judge and that nothing happens outside of Your will, Lord. Therefore, we pray for Your divine intervention in this situation. We ask that You comfort and strengthen our sister during this time. May Your Holy Spirit give her peace and guidance as she navigates this trial. Shower her with Your everlasting love and grace and surround her with Your mighty angels of protection.
We also pray that You bring the perpetrator to justice. Touch their heart, Lord, and convict them of their sins. Lead them to true repentance, and may they turn away from their wicked ways and turn to You.
Father, we ask that You guide the authorities investigating this case. Give them wisdom and discernment as they search for the truth. We know that You will not let Your children be put to shame, and we claim Your promise in Romans 8:28, that all things work together for good to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.
We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we pray for forgiveness of sins. Let us remember that there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12:
"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
May we always be cognizant of this truth and strive to live our lives in a manner worthy of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We ask all of this in His holy name.
Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord and to surround your sister with love, support, and prayers. Share the gospel with those involved in the case, and let them see the light of Christ in you.
