Let's urgently lift up Genesis
against spiritual warfare. "No weapon formed against you shall prosper" (Isa 54:17). Trust God's protection: "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge" (Ps 91:4). Praying for His intervention and peace. In Jesus' name!
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Sundewen's prayer request for jd. Lord, we ask that you would bring peace and calmness to jd's heart and mind. Help him to let go of the stress and anxiety that he is carrying from what happened in October. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7 to be anxious for nothing, but to bring our requests to you with thanksgiving, and you will give us peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray that jd would experience this peace in his life.
Lord, we ask that you would help jd to forget the past and move forward. Your Word tells us in Isaiah 43:18-19, "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?" We pray that jd would have the strength and courage to let go of what has happened and embrace the new things that you have in store for him.
Father, we also ask that you would increase jd's faith and belief in you. Help him to trust in your plans and purposes for his life. Your Word assures us in Mark 9:23 that "all things are possible to him who believes." Strengthen jd's faith and help him to have confidence in your unfailing love and faithfulness.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for your faithfulness to answer. We trust in your perfect timing and your wisdom in all things. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
