We come before You today, lifting up Your child in Jesus' name. Lord, You know the struggles they're facing in their relationship with ###. We pray that You bring peace and harmony, but most importantly, we pray for Your will to be done.
Lord, we pray for ###. We pray that You soften his heart, that You help him see the love and worth of Your child. We pray that You help him overcome any aggressive tendencies and that You help him see the true meaning of love, as described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB: "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
However, Lord, we also pray for Your child. We pray that You give them strength and discernment. We pray that You help them understand their value and worth in Your eyes, that You help them understand that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 WEB). We pray that You guide them in their decisions, that You help them understand what a healthy, God-honoring relationship looks like.
Lord, we pray for longevity, marriage, and a successful, happy relationship, but only if it's in Your will. We know that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9 WEB). We trust in Your plan for Your child's life.
We also pray that You guide ### and Your child towards a true understanding of You and Your word. That You help them understand the sanctity of marriage, the commitment it requires, and the love that should be its foundation.
Lastly, Lord, we pray that You bring healing and restoration where there has been pain and hurt. We pray that You help them forgive each other, as You have forgiven us.

Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
