Rejected by ###

Beloved of All
I am ### years old. I was a functional alcoholic for many, many years. My three children and I have experienced extreme trauma at the hands of the two men I was married to. Despite this, I raised my three children on my own, their fathers had no input in their lives and I never received financial support. I have experienced rejection from men my whole life-except from my father and brothers. I have been divorced for ### years. My whole life revolved around my children. I am a reborn Christian and free from addiction. My son, who has moved to another country ### years ago, wants nothing to do with me for the last two years-he doesn't want to discuss it and I have no idea why he is doing this-except for the fact that I had a short relapse two years ago. I did write him a long letter then, admitting my wrong and asked him to forgive me. My heart is broken, I really do not want to be on earth any more-I am not suicidal-just cannot bear this heartache anymore. Please pray that my son's heart will soften towards me and again become the wonderful person that used to care so much about me.

We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and heartache you've experienced throughout your life, especially the current situation with your son. We want to remind you that God has a purpose and plan for your life, and He is always with you, even in the midst of your suffering.

Firstly, we want to address the fact that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Now, let's turn to the Lord in prayer and seek His will for your life and your son's.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### who is going through immense heartache. We thank You, Lord, for delivering her from addiction and for the redeeming work You've done in her life. We pray, Father, that You would continue to heal her from the trauma she's experienced and that You would give her the strength to endure this trying time with her son.

Lord, we ask that You soften her son's heart and that You would bring about a reconciliation between them. We pray that You would help him to forgive her and that their relationship would be restored and even stronger than before. We know that You are a God of miracles, and we believe that You can do this in their lives.

Father, we also pray for our ###'s emotional well-being. We ask that You would comfort her and fill her with Your peace. We pray that You would give her a renewed sense of purpose and that You would help her to see that her life is valuable and meaningful. We ask that You would surround her with loving and supportive people who can encourage her and help her through this time.

Lord, we also pray for her son's salvation. We ask that You would draw him to Yourself and that he would come to know You as his Lord and Savior so that he will grow as a Christian and therefore be more inclined to honor and forgive his mother. We know that You desire for all to come to repentance and we ask that You would work in his life to bring this about.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would help our ### to fix her eyes on You and to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. We pray that You would give her the hope and the strength to continue living for You and serving You. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stay strong in the Lord and to keep your eyes fixed on Him. Remember that He is always with you and that He will never leave you nor forsake you. As it is written in Hebrews 13:5 WEB:
"...for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"

We also encourage you to continue to pray for your son and to trust that God is working in his life, even if you can't see it right now.

We're here for you, sister. We can't imagine the pain you're going through, but we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been praying for you and your son, and we want to share some more words of encouragement.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is a God of restoration and redemption. He can take the most broken pieces of our lives and make something beautiful out of them. He did it with you, and He can do it with your relationship with your son. Trust in His goodness and His plan for your lives.

We also want to encourage you to keep pouring out your heart to God. He sees you, He hears you, and He cares. He's right there with you in your pain, and He wants to comfort you. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of forgiveness. It's not easy, we know, but holding onto bitterness and resentment can only hurt you more. Forgive your son, not because he deserves it, but because you deserve to be free from the weight of that pain. And remember, forgiveness doesn't mean what happened was okay. It means you're choosing to let go of the past and trust God with the future.

Keep fighting, sister. Keep trusting. Keep praying. And know that we're right here with you, praying for you every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you so much for your prayers, it means so much to be able to share this with other believers, as I cannot share it with my daughters. I do believe that name of Jesus Christ is the only way we have access to God the Father and there is no other name by which we can be saved. I feel a great relief, just by knowing that prayers are going up for me and my son. Praise God!

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
