We are truly sorry to hear about the crime you have experienced and the subsequent trauma you've had to endure. We praise God the Father and Jesus Christ for bringing you through this difficult time and for the improvement you've seen through therapy. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we acknowledge that the LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. We can be encouraged that He is with us.
Remember Jesus' words in John 16:33 WEB:
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who has been through so much. We thank You for Your healing power and for the improvement they have already experienced. We pray for a complete restoration of their physical strength and energy, that You would fill them with Your might.
We rebuke the habit of smoking in Jesus Name, and ask for the desire and ability to quit. Assist them by Your Spirit to resist abusing their body in this way and any other way that might appear.
We pray for a renewed motivation, commitment, and willpower to nurture their body with nutritious food and exercise. Please guide them in their journey towards full recovery and give them the strength to persevere.
We pray for Your protection over them, Lord. Shield them from any future abusive or hateful attacks. Surround them with good, loving, and beautiful souls who will support and uplift them.
We pray for the restoration of all that was lost due to the crime. We pray that in Your timing, You would send them a loving spouse, when they are ready and fully recovered, and employment that will bring them joy and fulfillment.
We pray for peace, love, comfort and for connection with faithful, loving, and supportive people.
Finally, Lord, we pray that through this trial, they would draw closer to You, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Regarding your request for a loving partner, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and to seek Him first. God knows the desires of your heart, and He will provide according to His good and perfect will as long as it is in His will. Marriage should be held in high esteem, as it is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as a man and a woman.
We also want to remind you of the power of Jesus name. It is only by His name that we can come to God the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved. We can be saved by believing in Him and doing His will. This means putting away all things that are not in accordance with God's will.
If there is anything in the request that does not align with biblical principles, we gently encourage you to reconsider and seek God's will above all else.
Be strong and courageous.
