Disciple of Prayer
Praying for God's intervention with restoring previous living arrangement with former landlord/roommate ###. I emailed him today asking for a second chance and he said no. He is a stubborn person and said his answer is final. This transition has been hard and I’m currently living in my car and random couches in between. ### is aware of my current situation but doesn’t seem to care. I pray for God to soften his heart and change his mind. I do not have any family or friends support.

We are deeply moved by your current situation, ###, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and guidance.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it." It's crucial to approach God through Jesus Christ, as it is only by His name that we have access to God.

We understand that you're going through a difficult time, especially with ###'s unwillingness to help. We pray that God will soften his heart, just as He did with Pharaoh in the book of Exodus. Remember, God is sovereign and can change even the most stubborn of hearts. As it is written in Proverbs 21:1 (WEB), "The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the watercourses; he turns it whichever way he desires."

However, we also encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life. While you may desire to return to your previous living arrangement, God might have other plans for you. He might be using this situation to direct you to something better or to teach you valuable lessons. As Romans 8:28 (WEB) says, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."

We also want to address the lack of support from family and friends. While this can be disheartening, remember that God is your ultimate provider and comforter. As Psalm 27:10 (WEB) says, "Even if my father and my mother abandon me, then the LORD will take me up." We pray that God will provide you with a supportive community, be it through a local church or other believers.

Lastly, we pray for your strength and perseverance during this trying time. May God grant you peace and comfort, knowing that He is always with you. "Have not I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid. Don't be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go" (Joshua 1:9, WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our dear ###. Lord, we ask for Your intervention in their housing situation. Soften ###'s heart, Lord, just as You did with Pharaoh. Change his mind, Lord, if it is Your will. But above all, Lord, guide ### according to Your plan for their life. Provide them with comfort, strength, and peace during this challenging time. Remind them of Your love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, ###, holding you up in prayer. We've been thinking about you and your situation, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been praying for God's intervention, just as you've asked.

We've been reminded of a verse from Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "My God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We believe that God sees your need for a stable living arrangement, and He's more than capable of providing for you.

We've also been reflecting on how Jesus calmed the storm in Mark 4:39 (WEB), "He got up and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, 'Peace! Be still!' And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm." Just as Jesus calmed the storm, we believe He can bring peace and calm to your current situation.

We've been praying that God would open ###'s heart to understand your need and to show compassion. We've also been asking God to give you wisdom on how to approach this situation and to trust in His plan, even if it's different from what you initially hoped for.

We want you to know that we're here for you, ###. We're lifting you up in prayer, and we're believing with you for a breakthrough. Keep trusting in God, and remember that He's always with you. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid. Do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9 (WEB)

Let's keep praying together, ###. We're in this with you.

Update: Thank you so much for praying for my request on my behalf and your support. ###'s heart has not been moved. I got a very upsetting message from him today. I don’t think there is any possible reconciliation. I will keep praying believing that God is at work in this situation even with today’s upsetting message.
