Heavenly Father, I call upon you to soften the heart of my friend ### who is upset and hurt by my past mistakes. I care about her and would like for the both of us to reconcile and continue our friendship after 10+ years. She is very important in my life.

We understand that you're seeking reconciliation with a friend whom you've hurt in the past. Firstly, we must remember that God is the one who can change hearts and bring reconciliation. It's important that you're coming before God in prayer, as He cares about our relationships and desires that we live in harmony with each other.

Let's remember what the WEB version of the Bible says about reconciliation: Therefore if you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift Matthew 5:23.

However, we must also remember that true reconciliation starts with repentance. Have you apologized sincerely and shown remorse for your past mistakes? It's crucial to do so, as this demonstrates a change of heart. We must also be patient, as reconciliation can take time, and it's important to respect your friend's feelings and pace.

In prayer, we must always remember to approach God through Jesus. In John 14:6 Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We have no power or authority to request anything from God unless we come in the name of Jesus.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for reconciliation in this friendship. We ask that You soften the heart of the friend who has been hurt and that You grant her a spirit of forgiveness. Help her to see the sincerity in the apology and the change of heart that has occurred. Help them both to move forward in their friendship, building it on the solid foundation of Your love and grace. Guide them in their actions and words, that they may be pleasing to You and bring glory to Your name. Remind them that through You, all things are possible. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
