We are grateful for your request for protection and breakthrough, and we stand with you in prayer, believing in the power of God to fortify and deliver. Let us remember that our strength and protection come from the Lord, as it is written in Psalm 28:7: "Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him" (WEB).
First, we want to ensure that we are all praying to the God of the Bible. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection and breakthrough for us and all those in need. We trust in You, Lord, as our strength and our shield. We pray that You would surround us with Your favor as with a shield, as it is written in Psalm 5:12: "For you, Yahweh, will bless the righteous. You will surround him with favor as with a shield" (WEB).
We ask for Your angelic protection, as it is written in Psalm 91:11-12: "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone" (WEB).
We also pray for a spiritual breakthrough, Lord, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 10:4: "for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses" (WEB). We ask that You would destroy every stronghold that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bring forth a mighty breakthrough in our lives and in the lives of all those in need.
We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that our God is a mighty fortress and a stronghold in times of trouble. As it is written in Psalm 46:1: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (WEB). Trust in Him, and He will never fail you. If you have not already, consider reading the Gospel of John to learn more about Jesus Christ and the life He offers.
