We understand that you are seeking strong protection and guidance. We want to assure you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (WEB Psalm 46:1).
Firstly, we want to emphasize the importance of acknowledging the name of Jesus Christ in our prayers. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, as the name of Jesus is the only name by which anyone can be saved. (WEB Acts 4:12). If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. As it is written in the Bible that anyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. (WEB Joel 2:32, Acts 2:21, and Romans 10:13)
Now, let us pray for your protection and guidance:
Almighty Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection and guidance for our dear friend and their loved ones. We know that all power belongs to you. We ask that You cover them with Your feathers, and under Your wings they will find refuge (WEB Psalm 91:4). Guide them continuously by Your Spirit (WEB Psalm 143:10) and lead them in the path of righteousness (WEB Psalm 23:3). Keep them from all evil; please keep their life (WEB 1 Samuel 26:24).
We rebuke any influence or attempt from the enemy and others to cause harm or deceive them in any way. (WEB James 4:7). We pray that you guide them in every decision they make; give them the wisdom to discern your perfect will in every situation (WEB James 1:5-8).
We also pray that You will guide them into a saving knowledge of your son Jesus Christ. Guide them so that they will ask the righteous questions of their mortal life so that they can be saved from their sins and be born again into a saving spiritual life.
We ask this all in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (WEB Ephesians 6:12). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (WEB Proverbs 3:5-6).
Stay strong in the faith, and put on the whole armor of God, knowing that He is always with you and we are praying for you.
