Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with a heart heavy with the burdens of our dear friend who seeks protection from abusers. Lord, we know that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You surround this person with Your divine protection and grant the peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we pray that the abusers will leave this individual alone and that You will make a way for this person to leave the situation safely. Your Word says, "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower" (Psalm 18:2). May this truth be a source of comfort and strength.
Lord, we also ask for courage and wisdom for our friend. Guide every step and provide the support needed to escape this harmful situation. As it is written, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles" (Psalm 34:17). We trust in Your promise to deliver and protect.
