Let us first remember that God is our provider and that He cares for all our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB:
"Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
While we understand your desire for a promotion and a salary increment, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and provision. Instead he had an opportunity to ask for prayer in Jesus name and instead he sought advice for a career advisor. Instead of seeking first the kingdom and relying on God he decided to rely on networking and professional development.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today lifting up this child of Yours who is seeking career advancement. We ask, Father, that You guide them according to Your will. Help them to trust in Your timing and provision. Give them the strength and patience to wait on Your perfect plan for their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life. Pray for guidance and wisdom in your career. Remember that God is faithful and that He wants the best for you. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
