Thank you for bringing this request to our attention. We join you in praying for your spouse, ###, as you seek God's favor for his career.
Firstly, we want to acknowledge your faith in the power of Jesus' name. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." It is indeed through Jesus that we approach God with our requests.
However, we want to gently remind you that while it's not wrong to pray for earthly blessings like promotions and increments, our ultimate goal should be to glorify God and align our desires with His will. As Timothy 6:6-8 WEB tells us, "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can't carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that."
Let us pray:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother ###. Lord, we ask that You remember him for a job promotion and salary increment, not just for earthly gain, but so that he can be a greater blessing to others and bring glory to Your name. Grant him favor with his colleagues and superiors, and let his name be mentioned in rooms where opportunities are discussed.
Lord, we also pray for ### and his wife, that they may experience Your favor and grace. We ask for financial breakthroughs, but more importantly, we pray that their hearts will be content and fully trusting in You. Help them to be good stewards of the resources You've entrusted to them, and to always put Your kingdom first (Matthew 6:33 WEB).

Remember, the Lord delights in the welfare of His servants (Psalm 35:27 WEB), but His ways and thoughts are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). Trust that He knows what's best for ### and for you, and that He will provide according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB).
