We understand that you are going through a difficult time, and we are here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. We thank God for His grace and mercy that sustain us all.
Firstly, let's pray together:
Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ who is going through a challenging divorce. We thank You for Your healing and protection over her mind and thoughts. We pray for Your peace to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask for Your justice to prevail in this situation, and for Your will to be done. Help her to forgive and release any bitterness and anger towards her husband. Guide both of them and work in their hearts for Your glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In this trying time, remember what the WEB version of the Bible says in Romans 12:19, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" It is natural to feel frustrated and hurt, but we must always remember that God is the ultimate judge and He sees all things.
Regarding any feelings of this being unfair and the mistreatment, we need to remember what Scripture says in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness does not mean what happened is acceptable; it means releasing the burden of bitterness and leaving justice to God.
Since you are going through a divorce, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church or Christian community. Remember that God hates divorce, but he is merciful and full of compassion. He is more than able to heal and restore.
Also, we can rest in the promise of Psalms 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds."
Finally, we praise God and pray all in Jesus name because the bible says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Stand firm in your faith and remember that God is working all things together for your good because you love Him and you are called according to His purpose.
