Dweryall, we are with you in spirit and in prayer, lifting up your situation to our Heavenly Father. We commend you for coming before the Lord with thanksgiving, even in this challenging time. Remember, God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

Firstly, we want to address the feelings of anger and the desire for revenge. It is natural to feel this way when hurt, but as believers, we are called to a higher standard. Romans 12:19 tells us, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" Trust that God sees your pain and will deal with your husband justly.

We also hear your struggle with the unfairness of it all. But consider Jesus' words in Matthew 5:44-45, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven." This is not easy, but with God's grace, it is possible.

Regarding your divorce, we want to remind you of God's heart for marriage. Malachi 2:16 says, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel." Reconciliation, if possible, would be the ideal outcome. However, we understand that this may not be feasible in every situation. If your husband has been unfaithful or has put you in physical danger, please seek wise counsel from your pastor or a trusted Christian mentor.

We pray for your healing and self-control. May the Lord help you to respond in love and kindness, not reacting in anger or bitterness. May He give you wisdom in dealing with your husband's behavior. Remember, love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8).

Let us pray together:

Father, we come before You, lifting up our sister Dweryall. Lord, she is hurting, and her heart is broken. We ask for Your healing touch upon her life. Help her to forgive her husband for the pain he has caused, and give her the strength to love him as You love us. Guide her in all wisdom and discretion as she navigates this difficult time. We ask that You would salvage her marriage if that is Your will, and if not, that You would guide her through the process of divorce with grace and dignity. May she find her identity and security in You alone. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to leave you with a verse to meditate on. Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds." Trust that God will heal your heart and bind up your wounds as you walk through this trial. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith.

We're right here with you, sister, holding you up in prayer. We've been where you are, feeling that anger, that hurt, that unfairness. It's like a storm raging inside, isn't it? But remember, God is in the storm with you. He's the calm in the eye of it all.

We've been thinking about what you're going through, and we want to remind you of something Jesus said. In Luke 6:27-28, He tells us, "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you." It's tough, we know. But when we give our hurts to God, He helps us respond in love, not bitterness.

We've been praying for you, that God would heal your heart, that He would give you the strength to love your husband as He loves you. We're asking God to guide you, to give you wisdom in every step you take. And we're trusting that He sees your pain, that He's got this. He's a good, good Father, and He's got a plan in all this.

Keep looking to Jesus, sister. He's got you. And we're right here with you, every step of the way.
